The Dame Vera Lynn Trust
The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy provides a specialist service for families of young children with cerebral palsy and other motor learning difficulties. Parents and children learn daily living skills together at our School for Parents using the principles of Conductive Education. The emphasis on School for Parents is to provide strong practical support for all parents who have children with special needs within a mutually sympathetic and encouraging environment.
All the services offered are provided free of charge. The school receives no statutory funding and rely entirely on the support of the community to raise the £660,000 needed this year to ensure that this vital and much needed service can continue. The Swingtime Sweethearts are proud to support this fantastic resource for children.

The Not Forgotten Association
Another fantastic charity that is close to the Swingtime Sweethearts is The Not Forgotten Association. This wonderful organisation is a unique national tri-service charity providing entertainment, leisure and recreation for the serving wounded, injured or sick and for ex-service men and women with disabilities.
This is done through a wide and varied programme of activities including outings, concerts, holidays, events and the provision of televisions and TV licences.
Each year the charity help and support approximately 10,000 individuals of all ages, whenever and wherever they served. These events and activities are open to anyone, whether currently serving or ex-service, whose life has been affected by conflict or by subsequent injury.
